The lead pastor of the Remnant Christian Network, Apostle Arome Osayi, recently paid a profound visit to the Living Stream Ministry in California, the official publisher and custodian of the legacy of renowned Christian leaders Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. This momentous visit celebrated the enduring spiritual influence of these iconic apostles, whose works have shaped generations of believers worldwide.

Apostle Arome expressed deep gratitude as he reflected on the pivotal role Watchman Nee’s teachings played in his spiritual journey. Sharing heartfelt moments from the visit via his official Instagram page, he described how stumbling upon Nee’s classic book, The Normal Christian Life, in the mid-1990s, became a defining moment in his life and ministry. He credited this encounter with shaping the central focus of his Christian mission.

In his post, Apostle Arome wrote, “While we were out there in California doing the Lord’s business, we visited the Living Stream Ministry: the official publisher and legacy curator of Watchman Nee & Witness Lee, God’s choice apostles forged in the most ruthless, wholesale persecution-inflicting era of Mao Zedong’s China. The inflection point in my Christian life and ministry began when I fortuitously happened upon Watchman Nee’s classic work, The Normal Christian Life, in the mid-nineties.”

Apostle Arome further emphasized his reverence for Watchman Nee by dedicating his latest book, A Treatise on Christian Ministry, to Nee’s memory. In his tribute, he described Nee as “the immortal pearl of the orient,” underscoring the timeless value of his teachings and sacrifices in advancing the Christian faith during times of severe persecution in China.

The visit to Living Stream Ministry serves as a poignant reminder of the enduring impact of spiritual giants like Watchman Nee. It also reflects Apostle Arome Osayi’s commitment to preserving and honoring the legacies that have inspired and shaped his ministry.

This meaningful encounter reaffirms the power of spiritual mentorship and literary works in influencing Christian leaders worldwide, showcasing how one individual’s faithfulness can inspire generations to carry the torch of revival and discipleship.
