Rhapsody of Realities for Today’s Message

For many people, Christmas is often associated with food, family gatherings, and holiday celebrations. However, Christmas is so much more than just family feasts. It’s about understanding who Christ is, why He came, and how His divine mission was fulfilled. Without His purpose, life would be empty and meaningless.

Jesus Came for Abundant Life
Jesus came to the world to give us life—abundant and overflowing. As He said in John 10:10 (AMPC), “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” This abundant life includes victory over the powers of darkness, a promise that 1 John 3:8 highlights: “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.”

Jesus Is Coming Again
Not only did Jesus come once, but He is also returning. Now is the time to serve Him with a pure heart and a true knowledge of His love and sacrifice.

The Blessed Hope: Jesus as God
Titus 2:13 reveals a powerful truth: “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ.” Jesus is not just a Savior—He is God. He was called “Emmanuel” when He was born, meaning “God with us.”

The Fullness of God in Jesus
Colossians 1:19 explains that the fullness of Deity dwells in Jesus. As Colossians 2:9 confirms, “For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.” Jesus Christ is the embodiment of God’s fullness, and He is the model for our own lives.

Christ in You: The Hope of Glory
Here’s the greatest revelation of all: Jesus, the great God and Savior, doesn’t just reside with you—He lives in you. As our opening scripture declares, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” This is the essence of Christmas. You haven’t fully grasped the meaning of Christmas until you realize that Christ is living within you.

The true celebration of Christmas starts when you embrace God’s revelation of Christ in you. God has always wanted us to be filled with His fullness, just as Jesus was.

Confession

I rejoice in the truth that Jesus is the great God and our Savior. He has delivered us from death, hell, and shame, and brought life and immortality to light. I celebrate my oneness with Christ and the divine life within me, which empowers me with victory, strength, triumph, glory, and dominion over sin and darkness. Amen.
