Today’s Bible Verse: Isaiah 41:10
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
King James Version (KJV)
Meaning of Today’s Verse
God speaks these words through Isaiah to His people at a time of national uncertainty. The comfort does not rest on a change in circumstances. It rests on His presence: “I am with thee” and “I am thy God.” The verse then lists what He will do. He will strengthen, help, and uphold. Fear is a real human response, and the verse does not shame anyone for feeling it. It gives a firmer place to stand while we face what frightens us. The believer’s courage comes from who is holding them, not from how strong they feel.
Put It Into Practice
Name one thing that has been troubling you this week and say it honestly to God. Then read this verse aloud slowly, and let each promise answer that specific worry.
Prayer for Today
Lord God, You are with me, and You are my God. When fear rises, remind me that You strengthen, help, and uphold me. Steady my heart today, and let me walk in the courage that comes from Your presence. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
