Lagos State Demolishes Omega Power Ministry Free School for Orphans
In a shocking turn of events, the Lagos State Government has reportedly demolished the Omega Power Ministry (OPM) Free School, a facility built by Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere to provide free education for orphans and the children of widows.
The school, which was located in Lagos, had been a beacon of hope for vulnerable children, offering them access to education, food, and a brighter future. However, in a heartbreaking post on his social media, Apostle Chinyere expressed his grief over the demolition, writing, “Happening Now… Lagos state government demolishing OPM free schools in LAGOS STATE. A free school for ORPHANS and CHILDREN OF WIDOWS. LET THE TEARS OF THE ORPHANS AND WIDOWS BEGIN TO SPEAK.”
This demolition has sparked outrage across Nigeria, with many condemning the action as a setback for the less privileged. Despite the outcry, the Lagos State Government has yet to provide an official statement addressing the incident or explaining the reasons behind the demolition.
