Greatman Takit’s “You Are Good,” featuring gospel icon Nathaniel Bassey, has been drawing sustained attention from gospel listeners since its release, and a recent official video has only added to its momentum.
Greatman Takit has built a reputation as a leading voice in Afrogospel, known for blending hip-hop energy with worship sensibilities in a way that feels both contemporary and reverent. On this track, he’s joined by Nathaniel Bassey, one of Nigeria’s most recognized worship leaders, whose trumpet playing and distinctive vocal style have made him a fixture in African gospel music for years. The pairing brings two well-established voices together around a shared message of gratitude.
The song is built on warm, gentle keys and steady rhythms that give the vocals room to breathe. Greatman Takit brings a youthful, sincere delivery, while Bassey’s familiar worship tone and signature trumpet touches add extra depth to the arrangement. The production stays controlled throughout, letting the harmonies build naturally without ever feeling crowded, and keeping the focus squarely on the voices and the song’s central message.
“You Are Good” comes from Greatman Takit’s expansive 23-track album, Flames Of A Wildfire, and its recent music video, filmed as a vibrant communal worship scene with a choir and congregation in traditional African attire, has helped push the song back into wider conversation among gospel audiences.
The chemistry between these two voices is what makes this song work so well, Greatman Takit’s earnest delivery paired with Nathaniel Bassey’s seasoned, trumpet-laced worship style creates a genuinely moving listen. The production shows real restraint, letting the message of gratitude carry the song rather than overproducing it, and the result is a track that feels sincere from start to finish.
“You Are Good” is an exciting track with captivating energy, impressive delivery, and a memorable sound. Make sure you listen to this impressive song and add it to your playlist today.
